The story

A family chicken-rice shop at 22 Phan Chau Trinh that sources trace to the 1950s. Mrs Buoi's family business began at the Hoi An market before moving here. The rice is made from grain aged about a year and served with free-range chicken and Tra Que herbs. It is simple and cheap, and it can get very crowded.

One of the names most closely tied to Hoi An chicken rice for a long time.

Started by Ba Buoi (Mrs Buoi) in the 1950s, first at the Hoi An market. Run by her son Mr Binh and his family as of a 2017 review. The brand has since opened branches in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
