The story
A small, plain clam shop at lane 7 off Ung Binh in Vy Da, near Con Hen, the islet that supplies Hue's baby clams. It's named after its owners, Hoa and her husband Dong. Com hen is rice with baby clams, crackling pork fat, roasted peanuts, sesame, herbs, shrimp paste and chili, plus a separate bowl of clam broth. You sit on plastic stools.
Has served Hue's baby-clam (hen) dishes for nearly 30 years. The menu covers clam rice, clam noodles, clam porridge and stir-fried clams at low prices.
Named after owners Hoa and her husband Dong; Mia describes it as operating for over 36 years.
