The story
Che He is a sweet soup shop at 11A 3 Thang 2 Street. It is known for three 'nots': no signboard, a door that never opens fully, and never short of customers. The half-open door gave it its name. Inside is a simple room with old wooden tables and chairs, serving che such as bean, corn, sweet potato, banana, glutinous rice ball and mixed versions.
A che dessert shop whose nickname comes from its door being opened only a crack ("he"). Locals know it by name.
Reported to have operated for nearly 30 years using a family recipe of over 30 years (2025 travel blog).

When to go
Open roughly 15:00–21:00 (reported 2025). A local guide suggests going 20–40 minutes after dinner. Check that it's open the same day, because a half-open door doesn't necessarily mean it's open.
Getting there
11A Ba Thang Hai (3 Thang 2) Street, near the Hoa Binh area and Da Lat Market. There is no signboard, so look for the half-open door. From central Da Lat, walking is easier than driving.
