The story
A busy alley shop at K280/23 Hoang Dieu that started as a small street cart over 30 years ago. Crispy banh xeo with shrimp, beef and bean sprouts come out of charcoal-fired pans. You roll them in rice paper with a big plate of herbs, add nem lui skewers, and dip everything in a house sauce of pork and chicken liver, minced pork and peanuts rather than fish sauce. Seating is tight, about 20 tables.
An alley shop serving banh xeo and nem lui, widely known and a reference point for the Da Nang style. It gets crowded, especially in the afternoon and evening.

In the alley at K280/23 Hoang Dieu, Binh Hien, Hai Chau, reached via the Hoang Anh Gia Lai building area. Ask the driver to drop you at the alley mouth and walk in.
