The story
Red Dao herbal leaf baths are offered at stays in Hoang Su Phi, such as the Hoang Su Phi Bungalow homestay in Nam Hong hamlet (Thong Nguyen commune), home to 37 Red Dao households, and Panhou Retreat. You soak in a wooden tub of hot water brewed from more than ten medicinal herbs. It's a traditional Dao remedy, used especially to help women recover after childbirth.
