The story
At the foot of the Marble Mountains, Non Nuoc has worked stone for over 400 years, a craft credited to artisan Huynh Ba Quat from Thanh Hoa. More than 500 workshops make everything from small souvenirs to temple statues, and you can see the stages of the work: sketching, rough power-tool cutting, hand detailing and polishing. Since quarrying on the Marble Mountains was banned in 1990, the stone comes from other provinces.
Non Nuoc's stone carving craft goes back nearly 400 years. Visit artisan workshops to see the craft rather than treating it as a shopping stop; purchases vary by product.
Craft credited to Huynh Ba Quat from Thanh Hoa in the late 17th century; recognized as National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2014.

Getting there
About 8–10 km from the center in Hoa Hai (Ngu Hanh Son). A Grab from My Khe beach takes about 15–20 minutes and costs around 80,000–120,000₫. Easy to combine with the Marble Mountains.
