The story
The Cu Chi district hid over 200km of tunnels with kitchens, hospitals, and command posts. Two sites receive visitors — Ben Duoc (larger, more local) and Ben Dinh (closer, more touristy). Tours include tunnel crawls, trap displays, and an optional shooting range.
Ducking through even 20 meters of tunnel reorders your understanding of the war more than any museum can. It pairs naturally with the War Remnants Museum for the full picture.
Local tips
Choose Ben Duoc over Ben Dinh for smaller crowds, or book a speedboat tour up the Saigon River to skip the 90-minute drive.
