About 25 km from central Da Lat, Cau Dat Farm is a 220-hectare tea estate with a roughly 100-year-old tea factory, offering tea and green-farm tours, a tea museum and a 360-degree-view coffee shop. Strawberry gardens around Da Lat let you pick fruit and pay by weight, but whether you can pick depends on ripe fruit that day.

For clouds over Cau Dat's tea hills, arrive around 5:30–6:00. For photos, 8:00–9:00 or 16:00–18:00 works best. Late in the year, after the rainy season, is the best season. Strawberry picking is most pleasant from about 8:00 to 10:00.

From Da Lat, head out via Tran Quoc Tuan Street and then follow Route 20 for about 15 km toward Cau Dat. For strawberry gardens, ask where cars and buses can stop and how far you'll walk before you set off.
